My husband and I married in Dec 2008. Jo was recommended to me by my best friend who married the previous May and Jo did her photography. Having viewed her photos I was very impressed and arranged to meet with Jo in studio at her house in Caerphilly. Having read many bridal magazines, I was looking for a photographer I would feel comfortable with, Jo made me feel very at ease and I loved her work. She had great packages to choose from and I loved the fact that we would get every single photo at the end. Jo was very easy to get in contact with, by phone, email and even text, which was fantastic as it made my life easier to get things sorted. My husband and I met with Jo before the wedding and discussed what we would like.
Everything on the day went perfectly. I was concerned that perhaps having a photographer following us around might seem a bit claustrophobic. Jo had her assistant with her but to be honest most of the time I didn’t notice either of them were there! She had some wonderful and unusual ideas for the photos and also took a lot of natural one’s which were fantastic.
After the wedding Jo kept in touch to let us know when the photos were ready. She put them all on her website and gave us a password to view them. We had over 1500 photos! We had them all on disc in a beautiful presentation case and in addition chose to have an album made as well.
I absolutely love our wedding photos and wouldn’t change anything about them. Wonderful photos to remember a wonderful day. Jo did a fantastic job, we are still in touch now and if I ever need a photographer in the future she would be my number 1 choice! Jo has put a selection of our photos on her website so you can judge for yourself! I’m the first bride in her wedding section with blonde hair. I highly recommend Ladybird photography!

We'd like to thank you for the fantastic photos which we are over the moon with. Appointing a photographer was something that we were very apprehensive about because it is such as important part of thewedding, but we needn't have worried because we found you to be very friendly, accommodation and innovative in making the most of the picturesque venue. I was looking for a photographer to take a photograph of me and my dog Tinkerbell (who is a very busy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel), for my fiance and mum for Christmas. I though this would be a difficult thing to find, but when I found Jo I found what I wanted and more.
I have had some family photographs done in the past in big well known studios, and have paid a tremendous amount of money, and haven’t been very impressed.
Jo at Ladybird Photography (Jo is completely different). The experience is friendly, personal and great fun with her. The service is second to none. She makes you feel relaxed and doesn’t push you around. Due to this, the result was amazing, and we had some stunning natural photographs to choose from, so many in fact, it took a very long time to choose the one I wanted, and ended up choosing a few, as they were so beautiful.
I work within the wedding industry and I have to say, that I would recommend Jo every time for any type of photography. Be it a portrait like mine , a wedding or any other even.
